salt is water soluble. acid and glycidate are not. salt has pretty high melting point, acid and glycidates are below 100 degrees

wow I've been looking for exactly this information. I have glycidic acid that is not water soluble, how do I turn it into the sodium salt? because the way it is I can't put forward the described processes.
Also, what are the CAS numbers of glycidic acid and glycidic acid "sodium salt" ( Is this the correct definitiion?)
I am told I have 5449 but it is definitely not water soluble and this is probably the deadlock I'm in

if your powder is not water soluble then you have either acid or ester. Both can be converted to the salt by treating it with NaOH just as described in the very first message of this topic. Step 1.

When skip step 1 and start at acid hydrolysis cause have the sodium salt,
Do I start by adding the Bmk then start with small portions of acid 200ml?
Just not sure if I should be dissolving the salt in water before start with acid or acid straight onto salt?

I have no idea how they guys on this video got the yeld they got. My experiments with HCl were low yelding. You need reflux temperature, huge excess of an acid (1:3 by weight) , good stirring and long reaction time.

Some people say they have success with HCl. I only had success with phosphoric acid

Is it must bmk turn to p2p first. Then p2p turn to amphetamine. The last is amphetamine turn to methamphetamine?

I got confused over the sulfonic acid part. I understand he was using phosphoric acid.
I now have sulfonic acid. Not phosphoric. Can sulfonic be used?
Anybody try it? Results?

All 3 acids (hci/phos/sulf) work, but there seems to different results in yield and different experiences. Every one has its one temp and time to convert and maybe prufication necessary.
