Technomagic Extraction Grimoire

Ingredients & Setup​

- 100g Mimosa hostilis root bark (MHRB)
- 25g Psychotria viridis leaves
- Absolute naphtha
- 25% NaOH solution
- Acetic acid (~5–10%)
- Coffee grinder (blade of reduction)
- Freezer (temple of crystallization)
- Glass jars, pipette, filters, gloves, focus

Phase I: Acidic Cook (Separate for Each Plant)​

1. Grind each plant material (short pulses, no heat).
2. Combine with 300ml water + 30ml acetic acid.
3. Simmer (do not boil) for 2–3 hours. Repeat 3x.
4. Filter and combine liquid extracts.

Phase II: Basification​

1. Cool extract.
2. Add NaOH dropwise to reach pH ~12 (watch for color shift).
3. Let rest 30–60 minutes.

Phase III: Naphtha Pulls​

1. Add 50ml warm naphtha per 100ml extract.
2. Gently swirl. Let separate 30–60 min.
3. Collect upper layer. Repeat 3–4 pulls.

Phase IV: Freeze Precipitation​

1. Combine naphtha pulls.
2. Pour into shallow glass dish.
3. Freeze for 12–24 hours.
4. Observe the fall of crystal snow.

Phase V: Drying & Purification​

1. Pour off solvent.
2. Air dry crystals.
3. Optionally: recrystallize using minimal warm naphtha.
