How do you go about making and using woods alloy to heat?

Your question is confusing. "How would you go about making woods alloy?" I would combine 50% bismuth, 26.7% lead, 13.3% tin, and 10% cadmium in a crucicible and torch it and mix it with a steel rod. "...and using woods alloy To heat..." 🤷‍♂️ to heat what?

I used to have some but never used it... must be heating efficiently and homogenous

Yes,I found some information on it though..could I not use another alternative other than the woods alloy? Like a thermal bead bath,oil..or is the woods just better at heating the reaction flask to 200°c
