You will copy/paste the message in a text file (using an app like Notepad) and use the app from the first step to decrypt the file with the message using your private key. The decrypted message contains a link you want to click to confirm you are who you are because you were able to decrypt the message that only your private key can decipher.

There is no way to recover a lost private key so take good care of it. Store it in your password manager, and/or load it on a flash drive (or better yet, two!) that you keep in a safe place. Remember that computer hardware can sometimes fail, a laptop can be stolen, your apartment or house can go down in a fire etc, and if you don't make a backup copy of your private key then you'll have lost the access to the Archetyp account forever, with all funds in its wallet.
