Yes, you are correct, I just tried to get hcl gas from hcl acid + table salt, and the reaction is too weak. Yeap, it will still generate the hcl gas but will take much more time to wait and it could reach almost a day/s if you have the time to wait.

You can generate HCl gas from aqueous HCl by heating it. High temperature will push gas from the solution. This method is low yelding. Also there will be water vapours going along with gas. You need a flask with muriatic acid, heating, then dry your gas thru calcium chloride tube, then bubble it into your solvent/reaction mixture. It is doable.

Can't you get H2SO4 from OTC sources? Like acid-lead battery fluids, or varioous drain cleaners and concentrate it?

you need to boil water out of it as much as possible. you don't need it to be clean.

Oh I forgot. Very simple method and it is a high yelding: drip your HCL acid over anhydrous calcium chloride. It will produce alot of HCL gas, but it also needs to be dried thru calcium chloride packed tube.

HCl + NaCl → Cl2 + NaH

CaCl2 + 2 HCl = 2 HCl2 + Ca

The chemical cheater say its not worth to try.🤷‍♂️

No, you need anhydrous calcium chloride. It is a white powder. It works just by consuming water from aqueous HCl so gas is released.

here is your HCl

CaCl2 + H2O → CaO + 2 HCl

in 3/4 of reaction options it will produce HCl gas, the calculatur sad.

Bro it's not how it works, my eyes are bleeding.
CaCl2 absorb water freeing the HCl as gasseus

What about the method without HCl Gas?
IdK its just another idea.
I Reade sometimes from a mixture of 10 parts aceton and 1 part HCl.
Maybe this Methode work for you.

He is using sulphuric acid so he is using H2SO4.

If you can get drain cleaner with H2SO4, remove organic molecules with 30% H2O2 and heat it. Here is the procedure

This is a bad idea. I would be very careful playing with these two.

Sodium hydrogen sulphate can be used instead of sulphuric acid. If sodium hydrogen sulphate and sodium chloride are mixed together in a glass container and heated, sodium sulphate and gaseous hydrogen chloride are formed:
NaHSO4 + NaCl -> Na2SO4 + HCl

This is the first time I'm trying for a reaction right now. As far as I understand, the last thing mentioned here is passing HCL gas through the RXN fluid. By the way, my English is not that good. I have 1 liter of sulfuric acid. Do we produce this HCL gas by passing air through the sulfuric acid? I'm sorry if I misunderstood. I'm trying to picture the whole procedure in my mind.

I guess I learned that I didn't fully understand some things and now I understand. HCl, the abbreviation for hydrogen chloride, can often be used instead of HCL, the abbreviation for hydrochloric acid. So I may have misunderstood some parts. Apart from this, according to the information I have obtained, when we add the salt we use in cooking to sulfuric acid, it starts to give off hydrogen chloride gas. Correct me if I'm wrong. What I also want to ask is how much salt to add to how much sulfuric acid.
