Hello everyone;)

I bought some weed a week ago, and it had a few seeds in it. I knew the very basic of growing, so I decided to give germinating a try lol. I was kinda surprised that it sprouted a little white root!

Feeling optimistic, I planted it, and now its actually growing
I didn't really expect much at first, but now that it is going, I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to give it the best chance. I've read bits and pieces online, but I'd love to hear from you guys directly. What should I focus on to help it thrive: lighting, soil, watering schedules, nutrients, or anything else I mightn't have thought about?

im using just basic equipment now but open to invest a bit (~20€) if its worth it. Any beginner-friendly advice would mean a lot!

Yes, you have to dry it, at which point it's smokable, and curing it, which can take a few more weeks, but that gives it flavors and gets rid of the green/leafy taste, which is chlorophyll and maybe fertilizer....

Before harvest, 3+ days before harvest, if possible, leaf the plants right there, and put the leaves right there on the soil. There is a little shock when you leaf them (or, de-leaf, really...) and giving them 3-4 daze or more allows the shock to pass and they are feeling super amazing and happy when you pull them, which means happier weed.

The best way to dry cannnbis is to hang it upside down. The bigger pieces you hang up, the longer it takes to dry, which is a good thing, in this situation...leave the leaves on, in the begining, unless you have insect or a biological issue (fungal or bacterial). If you have more than one plant, put space in between them, since you want air flow.
If you find Botrytis (bud rot), clip several inches below the infected site, (4"-8"), even if you are clipping away what looks like pretty flower. It's not, even though you can't see it.
Use a fan and keep air moving.
After a few daze the fan leaves will dry out so remove them all...when you get better and trust yourself more, you can lead the leaves on there, dry perfectly, leave the leaves on there, and put them in a tote, and burp it, so that in 4 months, you want some weed, you can pull it out and trim it and seems like it is fresh, even though it's 4 months old. If you sell weed, that is how you A) don't have to hire trimmers to trim it all at the begining after harvest, and B) have amazing fresh outdoor weed, in February.
Anyways...
Reorganize your branches/plants because leaf removal and drying shrunk the size of the crop..pick any buds from the ground and put them in a separate pile called "ground weed", you can extract that later. Maybe put the branches back on the wires in a different order...
When the stems snap, IE the bigger stems, then they are ready. This should take 2-3 weeks, at 20-22c and 60% humidity depending on the size of the branches.

btw. few things from my experience which often are forgotten when growing but have (in my opinion!) huge impact:

- pH of soil !
- quality of water ! (in UK especially!)
- good air circulation
- boosting CO2 levels

Correct pH = better absorption of nutrients + keeping good microbes on roots
In some point i saw as well huge improvements on health of plants when use only pro filtered water, mean double reverse osmosis filters.
Air circulation = strong roots

And bit of magic if You want have more holly broccoli from Yours crops --->> Asahi SL + Bloombastick + Psycho Myco
