Crypto To Liquid Assets?

Say someone starts earning crypto on the darkweb.

They want to take thousands worth of crypto and turn it into liquid assets.

How is the best way to do this? I assume one would want to use a sort of middle man for some exchange, then send those funds to a bank account that perhaps is out of the person's country's grasp?
