Hey all, I hope this is a good place to post this. r/BabyBees was banned and thus my posts there disappeared, but I'd hate for this info to disappear.
Hopefully our mods here will approve of this.
Preface TLDR: Mexican dirty 30s are between 5-15% lidocaine (or benzocaine/etc) because the inactive cuts used in them are harsh as all hell (often corn starch because it smokes well but they also use a variety of other starches/sugars/etc). This is why almost everyone gets the "pill cough" and is a totally unnecessary affliction brought on by lazy pill pressers.
If you happen to be in a position to, PLEASE share this recipe with whomever you can in order to save a whole lot of people from a whole lot of lung cancer.
Final post recipe:
You may have seen my PSA post about all the lidocaine in the M30s and fent powder going around. Well, I've tried f*cking dozens of cut combos and finally have one that smokes well without burning your throat and doesn't require lidocaine or anesthetics.
malt extract agar [MEA]
6:1 mannitol to MEA by volume (you can probably use less MEA to get it to smoke more cleanly, I just wanted to get this mix out there for people to use).
+1% to 2% finely powdered stearic acid
+~0.2% powdered blue pea powder dye
+your active ingredient: 0.25mg-5mg depending on what you're using Read the bottom of this post re: average fentanyl content per tablet if you want an idea. Most MX pressies weight ~100mg and contain 1.5mg fent HCL.
Please note the LD50 of fent HCL is 2mg so always err on the side of caution.
You need to wet mix this dye especially (I used 99% iso + methanol + water so it dries quickly and can be wet mixed with the active as well).
NOTES ABOUT FLAVORING:
I think there's a very slight funky mushroom-esque taste from the MEA that my reviewers say they can't detect. You could, hypothetically, buy diacetyl online to add a popcorn flavoring and give yourself bronchitis.
I have personally used 99% iso (or another nonpolar) to extract the flavoring from a small amount of the popcorn flavoring spray (which contained only canola oil + natural flavors + yellow dye - no diacetyl). This created an absolutely delicious flavor when added to the mix. You may be able to use a small amount of the flavoring spray as-is and leave out the stearic acid as well.
If you really care about your lungs but still want to smoke, use 99% iso to extract the active from M30s (powdered, I get almost 100% recovery with this) and put it into either pure mannitol or this mix instead, with the same amount as pill weight you extracted from, then use a metal weed hash press + arbor press or simply rubber mallet on cement if you don't have a pill press/mold already).

PSA: All m30s/fent presses that you're smoking contain lidocaine because they're actually harsh af. Here's a pill/china recipe that's smooth af and doesn't require lidocaine.
Looking on drugsdata (formerly ecstasydata) there's lidocaine in almost every m30 they tested. After testing about 100x pills pressed with different cuts/combinations, I finally got one that doesn't destroy your lungs and still runs well.
6 parts manitol
1 part dextrin (replaced with Malt Extract Auger in the above recipe as it's less harsh)
1-2mg stearic acid per pill (optional but helps)
The stearic helps it run/not powder/shine. Can be used for china; produces almost zero throat burn.
Hope this helps someone. If you're pressing, please consider switching to this and saving peoples' lungs.
Also, got a couple fun facts for you guys:
That buttery/popcorn flavor the m30s have? That's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetylpropionyl which is produced when the acetic acid/anhydride from early in the synthesis isn't removed before the final step with propionyl.
The DEA tested 180kg of M30s (148 representative tablets):
• average fentanyl content per tablet: 1.5mg
• fentanyl range : 0.02mg to 4.84mg
