It's your daddy, hundreds of things, b phenylethylamine (2-phenylethylamine) I was at the supplement store and saw this and bought it with a knee jerk reaction because I had cash and they aren't supposed to be selling this as far as I know. I stayed up all night breaking bad and trying to find something good to make from it. I read tales of alpha methylation via formaldehyde, folklore about a ceseum catalyst. I saw an actual write up that would make some sort of fentanyl analog.... But I am not experienced enough to write my own procedure from 0. I am interested in going faster but not " raising my vibration" phikal style. Plus if I could avoid retro synthesis I'd prefer to. If I must, I must but I don't know how, on my own. Anybody care to point me in a good direction? I won't ask you to hold my hand, I'll do the work-up and the math. I just couldn't find a good place to jump off with it. Probably should have went straight for the 1900-1930 patents

I dont no for 100% you use this instead of methylamine in p2p synths snd its suppose to gibe you dmeth. Instead of racemic look this up on reddit

I'm skeptical. That might be true for 1-phenylethylamine, but this is 2-phenylethylamine. I've since this post read a few ways to methylation it to some interesting chemicals but I haven't tried it yet. Dimethylphenylethylamine sounds like meth but it's actually a couple of kinds of bullshit. I'm moving on to my newest drunken purchase, what do I do with this proprionic acid? I've seen very involved routes to propriophenone, 4-methylpropriophenone, ephedrone, and ephedrine...so far

You can do a reductive amination but the product will be Amphetamine, the split is at the nitrogen.
Proprionic Acid Iron II salt, or calcium salt + Benzoic acid salt -> dry distillation -> Propiophenone

Well Well, thanks for the tip, amphetamine to methamphetamine is a Well known alkylation reaction. I think there's 2 routes on the Rhodium archive alone

Although mostly called "formylation" it is just a reductive amination of formaldehyde, best done with para-formaldehyde whats far better to handle and helps against overalkylation to the tertiary Amine.

No one taught me chemistry, so I might say halogenation or I might say chlorination I might say alkylation or methylation. I know what it means just not the right use of the terms. Is it a phenyl moiety or is that an aromatic benzenol? It's all seafoam teal to me

Also another update, kingdraw, available on the app store, does retrosynthasis ( and synthesis prediction with side reactions) it's probably 10% easier than writing a reaction you have to trick it into thinking you are not making drugs
