I am in higher education for the natural sciences. I am curious if there are any gaps of knowledge for this discipline that higher education will lack and what those gaps are.
Question What education should I seek that higher education lacks?

someone correct me if im wrong, but this is really just illegal chemistry. if u have the chemistry part down, great! u will rlly just have 2 learn the criminal side of things like specific syntheses 4 illicit drugs or where 2 get precursors. "actual" chemistry knowledge is super useful and tbh, thats the part most ppl (or at least i) struggle with
i saw this quote on the vespiary that said something like "think like a chemist, not a criminal," and i feel like that has some applications here. illegal chemistry isnt very different and shouldnt b treated as such. 2 many ppl fuck up their work bc they dont take their projects (or themselves) seriously enough 2 do the research or UTFSE. its rlly nice 2 c someone with higher education, the forum needs more of that

I was raised in a criminal world and pursued higer education later on and I still dabble but honestly I wish I would have chosen a different path early on but that is not always easy when coming up a certain way. In this world there are alot of chemists, some good, most bad it seems. Many do not care about people only profits and people are dying everyday beacause of it. This world could us more people with an understanding of biology, which is a wide range of possibilities, but I would think understanding US better and how the different substances we use/make etc, are going to work and maybe give some guidance to those chemists who actually give a damn about the people they sell too. I am not sure we have come up with a good safe drug that we can use, get high on, and not become sick and or potentially die when coming down or mixing with something else, etc. That would be the greatest idea I could imagine. Is it possible? Perhaps not, but who is actually out there attempting to see if it is? Big pharma is really no different than a good Meth maker. Funny thing, probably more meth makers care about people than Pharma companies. Then there are those who I call little pharma. Fake pill makers, most who cannot seem to figure out how to consistently make a good product. If your gonna do it, do it right. Pressed pills would be great if they were made the same every time with the same ingredients by the same "chemist." Imagine the sales and the customer returns if that were the case. Now I'm ranting...
