The video could literally show any synthesis. Without seeing chemicals it is difficult to tell what it going on. I am not Sherlock Holmes unfortunately. If the lab used the chemicals you mentioned, then yes, it is very likely it was done that way.
The video is extremely impressive, other than the fact that it got busted.
I have never seen a beckmann rearrangement for helional before. I figured it was getting oxidized to the carboxylic acid and then reacted with urea to form the amide.

Helional is very cheap made mda this way kg can get for 300€
