Question Sticky substance with pseudoephedrine

Hello Can anyone help me?

When I extract pseudo pills with first xylene boil and and then dissolving mass in pure methanol.

The collected methanol is clear like water. But when I evaporate it I do get pseudo salt but there is also some kind of sticky sugar like substance. Like pseudo is stuck to this caramalised sugar like substance.

Can someone help me to remove this substance and get pure pseudo or if i can do birch with is substance?

Hey thanks for the reply. Its an indian brand Solvin OD 120mg pseudo per pill. But problem is inactive ingredients are not mentioned on indian medicines.
