i seriously fucked up, overdosed on ice in public. i think someone called the cops because i heard someone mention drugs on a call and i saw like 3 police cars shortly after so i left as fast as i could (without looking like a total crackhead), but i freaked out and left the bag in the spot and ik it has fingerprints and probably residue. im so scared. wtf do i do??

i might just be paranoid because i was having auditory hallucinations by the time i got home but i think im probably screwed
im a known user in my area (not ice but other stuff)

If they didn't see you in possession of the bag and then immediately aquire it without taking their eyes off of it, they can not show a chain of possession that unequivocally leads to you. If you have never been arrested before they don't have your fingerprints. If you have, did they take your prints? They don't magically have them. Paraphernalia is a low charge and they likely wouldn't waste their time prosecuting a paraphernalia charge less than 1)2g depending on the state) even if they come to harass you, be confident that the case isn't a slam dunk and it's a low charge. If you admit nothing they have nothing. You handed out a dozen sandwiches to homeless people, one of them subsequently used the empty bag to hold some drugs. That's...

What legal problems have already set in?
There is no need to worry ahead of time.

What country we talking about the UK. We pretty much have the same type of legal system. Was this bag you left gone when you got back? How much was in the bag? I think if you denied everything across the board that it would be impossible to prosecute. The only person that can get you in trouble is you. Don’t tell the police a damn thing ad your fine. Your a woman or a man?

Have you ever been arrested? What state are you in. Are you a chemist by chance.
if you have never been arrested in the USA it is very unlikely they have your prints and even less likely the prints are even able to be seen on the bag.

Plus all you did was stagger around allot? You any color except white it would be difficult to get arrested here right now. If this is in california I’ll even represent you but I’m telling you your fine. Unless your a beautiful white girl then your in big trouble lol

If no illegal substances are found in your bag, then there will be no problem. You never know why you threw up, maybe you were poisoned. I recommend getting a good night's sleep, taking vitamins and assessing the situation without paranoia. And in the future, be careful with heavy drugs, they should be fun, not problems.

They might lie and say they saw you or have a video. You're not answering questions right now.

I once got out of a marijuana charge (actually twice) because I had the bag in my wallet where dollars go. And they didn't see it initially. When we got to the police office and they found it, it had been in the trunk of the cruiser but not accounted for, so there was no chain of possession. The other time I told them in court that I wanted to independently have it tested and they couldn't come up with it. I suspected that would be the case because the officer commented on how good it was ( this was about 1998 before high grade marijuana was abundant) and he was the sheriffs son, who I knew smoked weed before becoming a police officer.

Dont have to worry. Using drugs is not illegal. If they find your bag with fingerprints it doesnt means anything cause always someone can cheat u putting something inside.

Using drugs IS illegal
Section 2925.31 - Abusing harmful intoxicants
(A) Except for lawful research, clinical, medical, dental, or veterinary purposes, no person, with purpose to induce intoxication or similar physiological effects, shall obtain, possess, or use a harmful intoxicant.
(B) Whoever violates this section is guilty of abusing harmful intoxicants, a misdemeanor of the first degree. If the offender previously has been convicted of a drug abuse offense, abusing harmful intoxicants is a felony of the fifth degree.

It's one of those things that depends on where you are. In California Oregon and Washington, they practice harm reduction, so even though it is technically illegal, they never charge people with drug abuse. In other states they use it as probable cause to get a search warrant or investigate but it is usually dropped before court. In other states they charge you with everything they can. It's not just states but different jurisdictions have different policies
