Hello, does anyone deal with pentedrone synthesis?

I did this synthesis. The reaction takes place under the same conditions as mephedrone, only use as a precursor 2-Bromovalerophenone

Just don't forget to take account of a molar mass increase of 29 with respect to the 2-bromopropiophenone (not the 4'-methylated one)

I remember seeing pentedrone synthesis here before, but I can't find it

For short: Friedel-Crafts acylation of toluene or benzene with pentanoyl chloride in pressence of anhydrous AlCl3 resulting in aryl n-pentyl-1-one that is brominated on position 2 here you have several options just beware that alpha halogenated ketones are notorious lachrimators, and this is reacted with methylamine prefferably in 2-methyl-pyrrolidone to yield your freebase that is gassed with hydrogen chloride in the nonpolar solvent that was extracted with to form your final crude solid product that is prefferably recrystalized before use. remember this is just spilled out of my memory and you should always follow experimented with writeups of procedures only when they are clear to you... as a matter of a fact the brominated intermediate I'm pretty sure I saw here on listings so even if you get the noxious stuff it is already pure enough for you (purifying that is troublesome) and you only need to make the final synthetic step and the salt of it
