Police found a butane oil laboratory in Shasta County, California. Two people were arrested.
Sheriff's deputies, along with the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Team and the Department of Fish and Wildlife, searched the premises on Emmett Lane in Anderson around 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. Officers were looking for an outdoor marijuana cultivation site allegedly spotted in the area.
As a result, authorities were able to locate a marijuana-based concentrate lab. Three handguns and two AR-15s were found inside. Digital scales, packaging materials, butane oil and processed marijuana were also seized.
The cannabis concentrated lab was located inside a small shed in the backyard. Approximately 150 marijuana bushes were also growing nearby. Police dismantled the lab because it posed a danger to others.
Paul Jane Corona Jr., 36, Christian Joel Magana, 21, Melody Summer Corona, 18, and a person under the age of 18 were detained and taken to police.
