NEED ADVICE- MAKING HASH

Recently started making my own hash using different cannabinoids and different kiefs - having a slight problem on making it more sticky and looking for some tips if it's possible? also trying to make it less dark ( I know this happens anyway as it progresses to final product) but is there anyway to prevent it from darkening as much? the product smokes nicely. but still I feel like it needs something to bind everything together better - tried alcohol, oil, beezwax, honey.
Beezwax was good but it didn't smoke well for the amount that's required for the esthetics off the product.

ig u could use the good ol smoke machine mix of propylene glycol and glycerin as a solvent.

I’m going to try make some hash but Iv not been sure what cannabinoid to use. Iv thought about using thc oil by turning cbd isolate into thc. The only thing putting me off is the darkness like you’ve said people like blonde looking hash let me know if you find a way

Are you calling hash the fake hash with synthetic cannabinoids?

As far as real hash goes ..
You said kief? You cannot make it lighter.
If you extract with ice water, then using those expensive ass freeze driers is the only way to make it lighter, by drying quickly and this is how lighter colored rosin is made(and avoiding higher heats...don't ask me I don't make rosin)
Making BHO and possibly distillate, you can filter in solvent through a buchner funnel or fritted disc (.2 microns) with bentonite (t-5 or b-80) or bentonite and silica, slowly, and it will remove impurities . Avoid activated carbon because it steals your yield more than other absorbents.
Pulling your crop a week or two early also gives lighter colored extracts but you lose yield and quality and terpenes.
Finally, use pentane to crash out the THCA, and then use ultra low temp short path vac distillation to distil the terpenes in clear water terps, mix with the crystals for ghost diamonds

tldr: a famous french hash maker invented a modern method of pressing the kief into a uniform sticky mass. he takes a glass wine bottle, puts very hot water inside, caps it and then just rolls this over a celophane with the kief.
nevertheles, if you never did this before, you maybe want to start pressing it with your bare hands (you can touch a warm glass bottle before, so it warms your hands even more), this way you will get a feeling for the process.
