So are you asking how to get methylamine in 30% isopropyl FROM methylamine Hcl, how to get 30% methylamine 30% in anhydrous isopropyl alcohol, or how to synthesize methylamine hcl using isopropyl alcohol?
Well I see that sodium hydroxide dissolves in isopropyl and doesn't react with it. Looks like methylamine is soluble in isopropyl, but the strongest solution I saw for sale was 9%. Methylamine hcl appeared to be poorly soluble. I wonder if you could add the hcl to it and the lye and bada-bing, bada-bomb bubbling the gas through it would be the traditional method, but I'm not confident you could even get 30% to dissolve in it. So. In summary..I don't know
