Question Making 4cmc cristals with salt

For example, my friend is making 4cmc, in last process he is using 0,38 acid on 1,35 Water, And for example he have 15l of liquid to cristalization And normally he have like 4/4,5k product from this but if he gonna add for example 3-4k of Salt to this 15l before putting to cristalization then final ammount gonna be 8/9k?

I think just add Salt to the liquid before putting to fridge but if im wrong correct me please
