Question Leuckart For Nitrostyrene?

Can the leuckart reaction reduce a nitrstyrene to the amine?

Like can 2,5 dimethoxy beta nitrostyrene produce 2,5 dimethoxyphenethylamine, aka 2cb?

no forget leuckart that is dumb... the nitrstyrene of 2c-b is easily reduced with simple zinc and an other kind of garlic acid but same way easy to get and cheap simply use google on sciencmadness there is a great manual for that... leuckart is just for dumb who dont understand there is always a better easier way leuckart give always low yield you need to get water out while you cook and why doing that when most nitrostyrene made by cheap nitromethan used for little cars can easily reduced with simple extreme cheap zinc redcution

So does it work, as a reaction? I know there are many ways to reduce the nitrostyrene.

More asking in terms of the actual chemistry, if the leuckart can produce the phenethylamine from the nitrostyrene.

leuckart is used for aldehyd and ketones not for nitrostyrene
