Can i make Methcathinone, if i follow the same synthesis as 4mmc?

I can easily get Propiophenone, so i was thinking of synthesing Methcathinone.
I've no chemistry background, I've only synthesisd 3 time 4mmc before,

if you follow syntehsis above you will get 2b4m so its precursor methylomethcathynon (4mmc)

you need 2 bromo 1-phenylopropan-1-on like you said
then you perform rest similar way

yes, if you follow these steps to brominate it that is correct

but yopu dont need to go that route, you can just buy Bromine as Br2 and use it, its faster, but as well more dangerous for sure

And no need to crystalioze it, i mean its faster in genreal if you work straight on as you will have already brominated priopenione in solvent, its more efficent way

there are steps starting, synthesis of precursor is harder than whole rest but its part i love the most

Why u wanna crystalize it, you probably wanna use everything at once right?
you can crystalize if u wanna store it, but if you wanna work instantly, dont do that becasue its wasting time and resources

Yes i watched this one but in this they have some different chemicals and i already have 4mmc synthesis chemical, so it would be great if i could make it with same chemicals, I've peroxide 50%, Hbr, benzene, methylamine 40%, baking soda , acetone, hcl
