Question Pump vacuum

Hello gentlemen, I would like to know if you think a 10 CFM, 1 HP (750W) and 15 micron infection pump is a good buy. I plan to use it for vacuum filtration and distillation.

What glassware do you want to use? What scale? It would be okay for common rotovap. Be careful with vacuum, especially less than 2 mm hg. Use manometer. Providing and application of vacuum in a laboratory

Also make sure you use a vacuum trap, I recently lost a pump prematurely due to continual use without a fine trap.
