That's not meant to suggest that only Columbian cocaine contained it. A logical critique of a system of smuggling would suggest that smuggling in the purest cocaine you can, and then adulterating it has advantages. At the time levamisole -cut cocaine was a headline, levamisole was not watched and a vet could buy it by the drum. It's easier to smuggle 100kg of cocaine in and then add the non- illegal, not watched 30kg of adulterant. Than to smuggle 130kg of 77% cocaine. Anyways they weigh the levamisole with the cocaine so the 100kg of pure stuff is less than 130kg of cut stuff even though it's actually the same amount. The Gov is good for that shit. Back in the day, if they cought you growing weed, they weighed the pot and the dirt right along with it so 1 plant in a 5 gallon bucket would have a charge that accused you of growing 10 lbs of marijuana.
