Question How do I extract Ephedrine from OTC pills.

I have access to a load of OTC pills that contains Ephedrine (both Ephedrine and Psuedo).
9000 pills, adds up to 225,000 mg of Ephedrine, per week.

The pill contains
[ 200mg Acetaminophen / 25mg Caffeine / 25mg Ephedrine ]

The problem is,
How could I extract only the Ephedrine substance from this pill?
What method should I use?

Also one more question,
In terms of cooking Meth-amphetamine,
How is using Ephedrine & Pseudo-Ephedrine different from each other?

Ephedrine is better than 'Pseudo'-Ephedrine, Am I correct? Or can I just use Pseudo?
