I TRIED MY MAKING 2-IODO-4MP FIRST TIME EXACTLY AS THE GIVEN RECEPIE IN THE VEDIO ON FORUM IT STARTED OUT AS EXPECTED I ADDING ALL INGREDIENTS AS MENTIONED I GOT SAME LOOKING RM PITCH RED BLACK BROWN BUT WHEN I LEFT IT AND CAME AFTER 6 HOURS THE COLOURS WAS CHANGED TO LIGHT BROWN LIKE COFFEE HOW DID IT HAPPEN CAN SOMEBODY HELP I BOUGHT THE REAGENTS FOR VERY HEFTY PRICE FOR THE FIRST TRY AND IT FAILED CAN SOMEBODY TELL WHY I AM ATTACHING A PHOTO THE IODONE COLOUR IS GONE @Novator @G.Patton pls help experts

@G.Patton so I followed this VEDIO step by step first added 4mp as given quantity second added ipa as given third added cup as given and after that I added iodine as given everything was looking right as in the VEDIO then I left it for stirring at 60-65 degrees as mentioned and when I came back to check after 6 hours the colour of RM changed to brown unlike the reddish brown black in the VEDIO why so as of now 17+ hours of stirring is completed and I removed the RM in vessel cup was there in the flask but the colour is brown not reddish like in the VEDIO
Can you apply pictures of your reaction mixture?
Have you added CuO as said in tutorial?
If you read this tutorial, you should know that you have to heat and stir reaction mixture not less than 15h (not 6).

No I didn't look like this ..I know I have to heat and stir for 15 hrs and also I did stir it for 17+ hours but what I was saying is in the start when I started everything the Rm looked same as in VEDIO but after 6 hours passed when I came to check the colour of RM bacame light brown unlike in the VEDIO also after 17+ hours the mixture didn't look like the one in VEDIO

@G.Patton exactly I was thinking the same I acquires two samples from two different local vendors one was dark yellow other was pure white. The white one smelled very good the yellow one was bitter smelling I tried that with the yellow one first and the reaction failed and now I am trying with the white one letss see what happens . As far as I know the reaction not so hard to perform right. I also tried with hbr on the yellow one when I added hydrogen peroxide it turned red then yellow but after follow exactly same method as shown in vedio it still didn't percipitate even after 24 hours of stirring
I'll pay you if you want pls help me out 
2i4m can be made in a microwave, which is not as expensive as it is, much faster
