Question Pressed cannabis pills, please assist

I have an enquiry from a customer who wants me make him pressed cannabis/thc pills.

Would this even be possible and what would i need to use as filler

yes its possible, there are even legal thc pills like dronabinol. i think cellulose based binders would work well, maybe some starches. dronabinol uses gelatin but i feel like that would be messy

How is the pills prepared? Is it with Hash or Rosin or oil?

dronabinol uses synthetic thc afaik. i think you could PROBABLY press them yourself with rosin or oil but i would get a second opinion. plus i thought rosin and oil had to be heat activated first right?

RSO oil doesnt need to be heat activated because it undergoes decarboxylation when the solvent is boiled doint. Its just a pain to work with

maybe try polysorbates as a binder. they stabilize oils pretty well. or try PEG
