Question Crystal Meth shard results

To further expand my Dunning Kruger circle...

My understanding is that if I try to crystalize racemic the result will be chunky white rocks. I don't really understand why, but for now I'm good with just knowing that.

Does that imply that clearer and more crystalline shards have less levorotatory enantiomers, (i.e. purer Dextromethamphetamine)?

Just wanted to restate the question.

Does the shape and clarity of a meth shard provide a visual indication of the enantiomer, (Levo vs Dextro) ratio?

if it looks like crystal than it is almost pure d-. If it is powder then there is some amount of l-
