Crude Opium refinement

Hello folks!

I searched the whole Web about this topic and just found contradicting information about it. Does anyone here have experience refining/converting crude raw opium to smokable opium /Chandoo? I'm especially curious about fermentation. I just can't believe that it's necessary to treat the Substance with apergillus niger aka mold .
How should I start processing the opium / poppy extract? I'm aiming for a smokable product and, even more important, something that can be stored for months before going bad.

Same process but with your opium use distiled water.
First, take 40 pods and grind them in a coffee grinder. Collect the poppy powder in a large saucepan and add enough water to cover the pods plus 2 or 3 inches. Add a shot of vinegar to the water/pod mix and stir over heat, bringing it to a boil. Allow the mixture to boil for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Once cool, filter through a grease filter or 3 coffee filters into another clean saucepan. Remember to squeeze the filter to get as much liquid as possible. At this point you may repeat the process with half the water and vinegar, or you may save the filtered pods for a batch of tea. I often do both, repeating the process and then saving the pods for one heavy dose, but I can't recommend this because I have a high tolerance to opiates. Combine both batches of liquid into one saucepan after filtering and again bring to a boil, this time removing from heat as soon as it starts to bubble rapidly. Filter this liquid while still somewhat hot through a new grease filter or 3 fresh coffee filters. Now, bring the liquid to a light simmer and lower the heat on your stove as low as it can go and allow the liquid to evaporate until it is half its original volume. The liquid should be very dark. Now, allow this to cool and filter it one last time with a fresh grease filter or 3 new coffee filters. All filtered material should be discarded, saving only the liquid that passes through. Once again, bring to a light boil and reduce heat as low as you can, and careful allow to reduce until it starts to thicken into a syrup-like consistency. Remove from the heat and pour the syrup into the glass baking dish. If you have patience, allow this to evaporate at room temperature over the course of a couple days until it becomes a solid or semi-solid mass. If you are in a hurry, you can dry it in the oven on the lowest setting with the door open ALL the way. This will still take several hours. Be very careful not to let it burn. Once you have a solid or semi-solid mass, scrape it into a pile with a razor blade and using your hands form it into a ball. It should be tacky, but not sticky when it is finished. Very little should stick to your hands. Approximately 0.1 grams is a dose, it can be smoke (vaporized) or dissolved in water to make tea, or eaten. Be very careful with dosing until you know your tolerance. Always start with half a dose. Now that you have your CFO, if you wish, you can go on to make Laudanum!
