Will the nitromethane addition to mdma synthesis as the methylamine source, work for the p2p to methamphetamine synthesis

I assume you are referring to, 2,5-dimethoxy-benzaldehyde + nitromethane= 2,5-dimethoxystyrene

As far as I can tell yes, benzaldehyde+nitromethane should yield a nitrostyrene, which can be reduced 5 ways at least, outdated and reacted into phenylethylamines
