hey,
for the last 20 years I have always extracted the sulphate from P2NP when producing amphetamine.
Now I wanted to produce the phosphate with 75% phosphoric acid.
I don't know the exact weight of my freebase (it was a small batch of 10g P2NP). I also want to keep the workup as small as possible this time, so I will not distill the product to better determine the weight).
So far I have always added as much acid (H2SO4) up to a PH value of ~6. I dried the freebase beforehand and dissolved it in anhydrous acetone.
What would be the procedure now with phosphoric acid, which contains a lot of water at 75%
(and the phosphate is supposed to be more water-soluble than the sulphate)?
I will do it like the way with H2S04, but is it ok stopping at same Ph level ~ 6 ?
