Question dumb idea

i was smoking mu j then i thought the folowwing dumb idea
I was considering of extricating THC with water(or/with DCM), muriatic acid 12°, NaOH.
crishing the weed mix it the water or dcm or both. get the solvent up to an pH of approximately 12.6 so 99% of the THC is deprotonized
ph back down to 7 . DUE TO the unsolvability of THC, I would suspect to make cristal in the water.
im i wrong or ist it even possible

tbh i wasnt sure so i asked chatgpt and got this response:

ur better off just doing this (oil extraction)
