Question Do we use our bank account to buy cryptocurrencies ?

I was looking for the tutorial to buy cryto (monero or bitcoin) and started thinking, by which means we buy crypto. Is it not too dangerous to reveal our bank transfer ?

I will buy a coin with cheap transaction fees like litecoin from an exchange. Then I will send my LTC to Cake wallet and exchange it to XMR

BTW Cake wallet isnt the only place to exchange to XMR. I like it but there are still plenty of crypto exchanges that do it. I am not a cake wallet shill
